hey everybody: howz about we all introduce ourselve, sobriety date, etc, anything you want to mention. I got sober 5.4.95 in the Akron Ohio area, NE Ohio, I currently live and go to meetings in San Francisco although my home group is still in the East Bay where I lived for 3 yrs. Tues night 6:30 at 2910. I'm a secretary there, I sponsor a bit. Right now I'm just trying to get to more meetings in SF.

I just started a new job which has been mucho stressful. I live with two sober guys, which is great. I have a girlfriend who drinks about 3 glasses of whatever a month. She is mainly addicted to dvds. so tell us about yourself! :-)

Hi, my name is Dominique and I am a recovering addict.
I got clean at 19 and have 20 months. My clean date is 2-4-04 and everytime I remember that I EVEN have a clean date, my jaws drops.

I got clean in Raleigh, NC, but I didn't know. Left college to figure myself out. Three days later, I moved to south florida and 3 days later I found my first meeting at the West Browad Club.

Recovery, saving my life, ONE day at a time!

Hello! Sandy, alcoholic, 10/24/97. Got sober when I was 19; just turned 7. I've pretty much lived in Berkeley for all of my sobriety, but spent a summer going to lots of meetings in NYC. I'm currently sponsored and sponsoring, and I'm also a Friend of Lois and Friend of Rozanne.

Hi everyone...Paul here, alcoholic who got sober in Morgan Hill and San Jose this past summer...July 19th is my sobriety date. After flying home from Africa (I live in the Republic of Chad) I attended about 200 meetings in 90 days while on leave. My wife was supportive of my efforts and although I did it while she was in Africa and we were seperated it worked pretty well for both of us. Now I'm back here, living in a country with no meetings that I have been able to find...So I go to aaonline.net and participate in tribes like this one. I get a lot out of the posts from everyone so thanks a lot for your experience strength and hope....Hope to be back in the bay area this summer after our tour here ends. It will be good to see some of you at face to face meetings then....

Hello, my name is Dino, and I, well, I have 3 days Today! And I'm VERY happy about that!
The disease of forgetfullness. The disease that's wants me to still stuff. INCREDIBLE! I'm just so grateful to see another day. Blessed. I love recovery. But, I still have old thinking patterns that lead me back to.......well, we all know. For those of you out ther like me, (oh, I previously had, 17 days), stay the course! No Matter what. Seven times down, Eight times up. But, like they say, Relapses, slips, (Thank MY Higher Power I was only out there for 3 hours, three hours far too many, and for those who want to know, NO IT WAS NOT WORTH IT!they happen, but they are not required. But, as the saying goes, It Takes, What It Takes.
    Focus up
Thank you for letting me get that out!
    Peace and Blessings.
